The Piedmont Round Up Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Piedmont, Oklahoma. The PRUC helps families and young riders learn horsemanship and how to be contributing citizens while promoting our western heritage. Our goal is to provide our members and community with memories and knowledge they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. Working with horses teaches dedication, responsibility, and hard work. We strive to provide a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can learn new skills and build confidence in all areas.
PRUC is quickly out growing our current location, which is rented. Our arena is currently located at the northwest corner of Madison Avenue and Piedmont Road. The PRUC board developed and designed an expansion plan including the purchase of land, building a large, covered arena with bathroom and concession facilities, a designated warmup arena, and a large area for parking. This larger facility will allow us to keep scheduled events as planned, without being at the mercy of Oklahoma’s weather conditions. It will also accommodate a wider variety of horse, rodeo, and community-friendly equine events not offered by our current location.
